The South African government has reopened the international tourism sector with certain requirements in place, with everything being almost completely back to normal. Please go through the information below to familiarise yourself with the different requirements and the process you need to follow in order to secure your booking with Safari4u.

What do I need in order to travel to SA?

  • You need to be vaccinated against Covid.
  • You will need to go for a PCR test and you need to provide a Covid negative test result (less than 72 hours old) that has been signed by a registered doctor when boarding your flight and when arriving in South Africa.
  • You MUST have travel insurance.
  • You will need to submit proof of your South African address when you travel. This will be provided to you by Safari4u upon payment of your deposit.

What happens when I arrive?

You will no longer be screened upon arrival in South Africa, although you will still need to present your PCR test results and proof of vaccination. You will also need to present your proof of South African address when you arrive.
